PROBLEM / SOLUTION
Since the Yemeksepeti.com was founded in 2000, interface didn't changed much in recent years even it's one of the most popular web applications in Turkey. One of the most annoying problem was the clutter in search results, where you scan through the restaurant list and choose one of them to order a meal. Furthermore, search filters were too complex and scattered around the screen. This redesign concept is an attempt to modernize the interface with flat-design principles and also an experiment to increase the usability.
FOOD CART
Yemek Sepeti means "food cart" in Turkish, hence the name it is the most important interface element. This is where you can see the sum, confirm the order (with 1-click order), remove items or save the list for future orders.
